Girly military Camo blanket
I really wanted to do something with camouflage. It might just be the country in me, I don't know, but I really wanted to complete a camouflage blanket. I knew that I didn't want it to be a "dark" blanket though. I saw this idea for ragged stacked blocks and I knew it would be perfect. I love the "ratty" look and I think it turned out cute. :)

A Whole Lot of Pink
This blanket is another one that I did for my wonderful friend Niki. One of her daughter's is having a birthday this weekend, and I was fortunate enough to be able to put together this twin size beauty for her.
The style and layout is similar to the "California Twin" that I put together and posted about for Niki's son a couple weeks ago. This one is just slightly smaller. The following pictures show the overall view, a close-up of one of the squares, and part of the back with part of the front. For the back of this one, I incorporated the colors from the front-making the color scheme flow from front to back. Though pink is not my favorite color, I LOVE the way this turned out :)

Square Block Blanket
This blanket pattern is by far the easiest that I ever do. It is just using square blocks and sewing them together. Once the front is done, I sew a solid piece of fabric to it for the back, and then I use yarn and tie it.
Though simple, this blanket was probably the most challenging due to the fabric type. It is the really soft "minky" type fabric. It always just wanted to slide all over. Anyway, despite this fact, I LOVE this blanket! I think the colors are awesome (the pics do not do the colors justice) and the dinosaurs are cute!
